Elevate Your Physical Brand

In an increasingly digital world, the physical touchpoints of your brand, such as your product packaging, annual reports and business cards, carry an outsized weight. A beautifully designed product packed in cheap, poorly printed cardboard will struggle to command a premium price on the supermarket shelf. Quality printing signals quality products.

Print Kenya coordinates the specification, proofing and production enquiry for business materials. The selected production method and provider depend on the item and brief. Facility ownership, equipment, production capacity and certification should not be assumed; request the relevant evidence where these are requirements.

Large Format & POS

Brief banners, display materials and other point-of-sale items with the intended setting, size, fixing method and delivery location. Confirm installation and finishing separately where required.

Approval Before Production

Color Accuracy

Agree the colour reference and proofing method with the producer. Screen previews, digital proofs and production materials may differ; document acceptable tolerances before approving the run.

Material Evidence

If recycled content, certified paper or other environmental attributes matter, request current documentation for the actual stock and supplier. Do not treat a generic sustainability claim as evidence for the ordered material.

End-to-End Design

Artwork preparation can be discussed as part of the scope. Confirm dimensions, bleed, resolution, fonts, colour settings and dielines with the producer before final approval.

What to Include in a Print Brief

A complete specification makes quotes, proofs and production expectations easier to compare.

Artwork and material

Provide finished dimensions, quantity, pages or dieline, colour references, material preference and intended use. Confirm bleed, resolution, embedded fonts and any variable data with the producer. Food-contact, moisture or other performance requirements need explicit material review.

Proof, finish and delivery

Agree finishing, acceptable tolerances, proof type and written approval before production. Ask how tooling, stock availability, quantity, revisions and transport affect the schedule. Confirm packaging, delivery address and who checks receipt; MOQ and lead time are quoted for the actual job.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ depends on the item, material, tooling and production process. Request the available quantity breaks for your specification; there is no single minimum that applies to every packaging or publication job.

Can you print variable data?

Include variable text, numbering or codes in the brief. Confirm feasibility, data handling, proof checks and output verification with the proposed producer before providing the full dataset.

Do you offer physical proofs before a large run?

Agree whether a digital, physical or production proof is appropriate and what it demonstrates. Record approval of artwork, material and finish, together with any limitations; a proof does not automatically verify every production condition.
